Founded in 1806, Henry Poole remains one of Savile Row's great tailoring houses. Clients throughout the world have experienced for generations the truly bespoke experience in which Pooles prides itself. Each client has his own individual patterns and all items are made on the premises. Henry Poole and Co has resisted all calls to sell ready-to-wear or made-to-measure suits from its Savile Row flagship. A Henry Poole & Co suit is pure bespoke; measured, cut, fitted, sewn and finished entirely by hand in a process that involves three fittings and over 60 hours of labor. Every suit is made in the workshops below No. 15 and No. 16 Savile Row wheither it be a livery made for Buckingham Palace or The Royal Mews, a Churchill pinstripe three-piece destined for the boardroom or a tailcoat cut for a Mansion House banquet.
